Formed in 2022, the Wild Roads Duo naturally blends elements of the musical traditions that shape the playing of violinist and fiddle player, Mairead Alexander, and multi-instrumentalist and composer Ian Otto Collins. Combining aspects of classical, jazz, traditional Irish and Bluegrass, and rock influences, their sound creates a uniquely timeless energy, no matter the setting.

Based in Baltimore MD, the Wild Roads Duo regularly provides both acoustic and amplified sound, featuring violin/guitar instrumental ensembles, and instrumental/vocal performances. Spanning a wide range of repertoire, we offer covers of classic and modern songs, along with intricately and thoughtfully arranged jazz, classical, and folk tunes, reimagined for violin and guitar.
